  • The Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA) program provides aid - including health insurance assistance - to trade displaced workers who lose their jobs or whose hours of work and wages are reduced. Health care benefits include a 65% advanceable and refundable tax credit that can be used for health insurance coverage such as COBRA or continuing individual market coverage.
