A broad-based coalition makes everyone's efforts more effective. For groups with limited resources, it offers the opportunity for national visibility and an expanded grassroots impact. And for all organizations, participation in Health Access America's grassroots network offers the opportunity for an expanded voice on the uninsured issue.
Opportunities for Partners to Participate in HAA:
- Lending your name in support of the Health Access America campaign.
- Placing articles about health insurance coverage drafted by Health Access America in membership publications to inform constituency.
- Including Health Access America information in regularly scheduled membership mailings to help outreach efforts in your area.
- Inviting Health Access America representatives and experts to participate in annual, regional or local membership meetings.
- Linking to the Health Access America website from your organization home page as an added resource for uninsured individuals.
- Designating representative for the Health Access America speaker's bureau for earned media opportunities.
- Participating in national and local media events sponsored by Health Access America.
- Encouraging local members and/or chapters to participate in Health Access America events such as Health Care Town Halls.
- Collaborating or co-sponsoring HAA events nationally and locally.
